This connector technology ensures continued support for the latest repository versions while improving reliability and allowing support for additional functionality. Tasktop Dev also includes a migration wizard to help you migrate your configuration and data to the new connector. The new connector has some differences in functionality from its predecessor, including the following:

  • The Rational Team Concert Eclipse Client plugin is no longer required.
  • Uses the standard Mylyn task editor

Microsoft Team Foundation Server Connector

Since Tasktop Dev 4.6, a new generation of the Microsoft Team Foundation Server connector is available, which is based on our latest connector technology available in all Tasktop products. This connector technology ensures continued support for the latest repository versions while improving reliability and allowing support for additional functionality.
